Group
Activity-
|
1)
The students will work in pairs of 2 and design and draw the cycle of
photosynthesis and cellular respiration together. One of the partners will do
the photosynthesis input and output while the other does the cellular
respiration input and output.
2)
The students will then switch groups and reading another groups member
photosynthesis or cellular respiration, they will write a paragraph with
their new peer on how plants and animals balance each other out.

|
Class
Demonstration-
|
1)
The teacher will do a raw demonstration with a co-teacher, acting out
how to do the input and output on a cycle sheet of respiration and
photosynthesis.
2)
The teacher will model appropriate group behavior and then how to
switch partners and how to co-write the importance of the cycle

Question
1-
|
1)
What is the output of plants that gives life substance?
|
-glucose,
sugar
|
Question
2-
|
2)
What would happen to balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide if all the
plants went extinct?
|
-animals
would run out of oxygen and have a very very short life span!
